Monitor critical machine states

TE Connectivity is developing the 830M1 triaxial broadband accelerometer in response to the increasing demand for solutions for monitoring the condition of critical machine states using sensors.

TE Connectivity 's (TE) triaxial accelerometer provides advanced integrated acceleration detection for machine condition monitoring where high bandwidth, small size, low power consumption and robust performance are critical. It can measure acceleration across three axes (X, Y, Z). Thanks to its fully hermetic LCC housing, a single mounting operation is all that is required to install this PCB-mountable sensor. Thanks to a measurement bandwidth with a wide frequency response (up to 15 kHz), the sensor is suitable as a solution for machines with both slow and fast rotation for detecting imbalances and bearing defects through to wear detection. The accelerometer is available in dynamic ranges from ±25 g to ±2,000 g. The accelerometer works with highly stable piezoelectric measuring crystals.

From the sensor to the cloud

One of the 'magic formulas' in the Industrial Internet is 'continuous information flow'. However, the installed base of production cannot be 'converted' as easily as business software. Instead, the migration must integrate different components.
