Connect multiple devices with just one cable
TE Connectivity has announced multi-fiber cable assemblies that enable high signal data connectivity through a single cable.
This one cable connects multiple units in the field, eliminating the need for a separate assembly for each unit. Suitable for outdoor wireless applications such as 5G, microwave, robotics, aerospace/defense and other demanding environments, TE Connectivity says the multi-fiber cable assemblies can save space, simplify connections and provide an economical upgrade solution because their use does not require upgrading customer applications.
The multifiber cable assemblies use bend-resistant G.657.A2 fiber, which enables easy installation and reliable performance. In addition, the bayonet latch provides positive feedback to the technician when fully inserted.
