Level sensors: IO-Link interface included

With the MFN series, EGE is introducing a new generation of level sensors with guided microwave, which enable continuous access to process and parameterization data from PLCs thanks to their IO-Link interface.

Using an appropriate master, the sensors can be connected to any standard bus system and parameterized using a PC or notebook. The measuring principle of the guided microwave offers high reliability due to its insensitivity to external influences such as temperature, pressure or density and ensures precise measurements in liquids such as water, oil and emulsions as well as in pasty media.

According to EGE, the display units of the sensors show the measured level in mm, cm, inch, l or %, depending on the configuration. The housings with integrated LED displays and control panels can be rotated through 360°. The level sensors are designed with protection class IP67 and for a temperature range between -25 °C and +85 °C. Depending on the medium used, there are variants with coaxial probes, single or double probes.
