Leakage detectors: problem fluids under control

Jola offers a sensor for leakage detection of highly electrically conductive problematic liquids such as antifreeze, liquid manure, silage leachate, acid, lye or salt solution in outdoor areas.

The measuring principle is based on a temperature-compensated voltage divider, which means that harmless, electrically weakly conductive rainwater is ignored over a wide temperature range and does not trigger an alarm. The sensor is available in the STK-SPS4 version from the 'Jola-Leckwatcher' system. It is designed for operation with SELV or PELV safety extra-low voltage and has integrated galvanic isolation between the electrode, output and supply circuits.

The leakage detector is suitable for direct connection to PLCs, DDC controllers, fieldbus couplers, radio modules or similar automation technology components.
