Datalogic announces the launch of the SG4 Fieldbus light curtain integrated with the openSafety real-time safety communication protocol via Powerlink.

SG4 Fieldbus light curtain from Datalogic

With models for finger, hand and body protection as well as various other functions, the light curtain can be used wherever standard safety light curtains are used. The integration of the Powerlink interface into the SG4 light curtain platform creates a safety solution that can be integrated into existing networks and communicates seamlessly with the safety programmable controllers. 'SG4 Fieldbus' diagnostics are available for PLC and HMI systems. Each message can be read out directly on the user interfaces as well as on remote web interfaces with simple messages and in the respective national languages.
