For computationally intensive AI applications
Kontron is expanding its rackmount server product portfolio with the Kiss 4U V3 SKW in 4U format. It offers high performance, more storage capacity for high-performance image processing, compute-intensive AI and machine learning applications and SCADA/MES applications.
The robustness, reliability and durability of the server is designed for harsh industrial environments. The server has a powerful Intel Xeon W-2100 processor. It is therefore designed for continuous, high-availability use around the clock. It also operates almost silently (≤35 dBA). The thermal concept also allows operation at high temperatures (up to +50 °C). The server in the standard 4U format (177 mm x 482 mm x 472 mm) is also shock and vibration resistant in accordance with EN 60068-2-27 and EN 60068-2-6. The rackmount server supports Error Checking and Correction (ECC) and offers up to 512 GB capacity with the integrated RAM of a maximum of eight DIMM DDR4-2666 modules. Two USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.1C port and seven USB 3.1 ports ensure connectivity, while two GB LAN ports guarantee high data throughput. The server also has Intel Xeon W-2100 series processors with four to eight cores on an LGA2066 socket with C422 chipset.
