Two variants added

The Rex 100 Ethernet routers from Systeme Helmholz for secure remote Internet access to applications have been expanded to include two new variants. Rex 100 LTE enables fast data transmission with a maximum of 50 Mbit/s upload and 100 Mbit/s download.

A 4-port LAN switch is also integrated into the compact design. The router can be used with existing 4G network coverage in Europe, Asia and Australia; at lower data transmission rates, the LTE modem automatically switches to the frequency band available at the location. The Rex 100 LTE operates in an extended temperature range of -40 to +75 °C. The Rex 100 WiFi enables wireless connection to the WAN network via integrated WLAN functionality. For example, mobile system components can be easily connected to an existing WLAN infrastructure. Four RJ45 ports are available for communication in the LAN network. All routers are equipped with two digital inputs: one serves as a trigger for establishing a connection to the portal server, the second can be assigned an alarm function so that appropriately parameterized routers can send an alarm SMS or e-mail to defined recipients.
