Individually programmable

The MC PMRL router from MC Technologies has a mobile radio module and is also individually programmable with OpenWrt Linux.

This means that it is not just an industrial mobile router, but can also replace expansion modules, for example for protocol converters, with software functions. According to the provider, this can reduce the costs for IoT applications by up to 75%. The router connects two remote networks via mobile radio, transmitting sensor data, performing switching tasks or reporting alarms, for example. If different interfaces need to be connected for this, the router replaces protocol converters such as ModbusTCP to Modbus RTU, for example.
