According to the provider, Ubiquity is one of the first software products in the field of industrial remote maintenance that has been certified according to IEC 62443-3-3 and therefore meets the requirements of the basic protection catalog of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The runtime environment of the tool is pre-installed in all Windows-based HMIs from Baumüller and can be connected to a domain. The software provides a means of communication for process control and simple and secure remote maintenance. This means that the condition of the machines can be monitored worldwide and, if necessary, a quick and targeted response can be made.
