Use in hazardous areas

With the Tab-Ex Pro, the Pepperl+Fuchs brand Ecom Instruments is expanding the existing Tab-Ex series and thus the range of mobile devices for hazardous areas.

With a 10-inch screen, the tablet is particularly suitable for visually demanding applications and displaying web-based content. Samsung Knox and Android 9 (Android 10 in planning) ensure data and device security. Other features include pogo-pin charging and a replaceable battery with a capacity of 7400 mAh for a runtime of up to 15 hours.

According to the provider, the 10-inch screen is suitable for displaying and interacting with interactive, web-based and augmented reality content and apps quickly and clearly, even in hazardous areas. With the 'Galaxy Tab Active Pro', a Samsung tablet serves as the basis - with features such as Google AR Core, facial recognition or the Qualcomm SDM670 Octa-Core 64bit 2.0 GHz, 1.7 GHz processor. With the help of the 'Samsung DeX' function, users can connect the tablet to a large screen and a keyboard for a desktop version.
