Smart-Ex 02 is an explosion-proof smartphone for Zone 1/21 and Div. 1 with Android 9 as the operating system. It supports 21 different LTE frequency bands and is supplied simlock-free. Global explosion and approval certifications enable worldwide use.

According to Ecom, the smartphone is designed for a temperature range between -20 and +60 °C. A powerful, easily replaceable battery with 4400 mAH for 24 hours of runtime prevents unwanted downtime while working in extensive industrial facilities. A magnetic USB port protects against wear and tear and damage to PINs and insecure USB connections.
Operating the device is intuitive: push-to-talk and alarm buttons, volume control and the camera shutter button are easy to operate, even when wearing gloves, thanks to the ergonomic design and handy layout. Configurable Android buttons are available for individual assignment, while dedicated buttons for PTT and alarm functions ensure the fastest possible communication in an emergency.
