Kanban 4.0

With an intelligent combination of optical sensors, identification systems and modern, process-oriented cloud software, Kanban-controlled production and material flows are raised to a fully digital level.

The associated end-to-end automation leads to shorter replenishment times, better overall process transparency and increased process quality.
Thanks to clean interfaces and a modular software architecture, the Pepperl+Fuchs solution can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT infrastructures with ERP, MES or WMS or operated completely independently of them.

The digital upgrade enables racks in interim storage facilities and PVBs to detect and process material movements. As all components are easy and user-friendly to install, the solution can be integrated into existing logistics infrastructures as an initial design in green-field production and as a retrofit variant.
