Aava Mobile becomes part of the Group

Pepperl+Fuchs has acquired Aava Mobile with effect from August 31, 2021, thereby strengthening the 'Mobile Computing and Communication' business unit.

Aava Mobile is based in Finland and is a provider of industrial and rugged smartphones and tablet computers.

"We want to bring our strengths in designing the next generation of industrial smartphones and tablet computers to the Pepperl+Fuchs Group and expect a number of synergies from this merger," says Markus Appel, CEO of the Aava Mobile Group. Aava's expertise in the design of industrial, smart communication devices is an excellent fit with ecom's'Mobile Computing and Communication' (MCC) business segment, as Dr. Gunther Kegel, CEO of the Pepperl+Fuchs Group, explains.
