Freely configurable function keys

With its new Panel PC series, Ferrocontrol is launching a scalable system for machine-related visualization and operation. The capacitive multi-touch glass screen supports operating concepts with finger gestures.

Equipped with 7th generation Core i processors (either i3, i5 or i7) and 8 to optionally 32 GB RAM, the E°PC G0315 is designed to provide a smooth user experience. In addition to the basic 15.7-inch version, models with 18-inch (E°PC G0318) or 21-inch (E°PC G0321) Full HD displays (1920 x 1080 px) are also available. The device in a closed housing with an aluminum front (400 x 312 x135 mm) can be mounted on a VESA mount. Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and the specific user software are pre-installed on request and the system is fully configured. The freely configurable function keys on the front are backlit, which increases user ergonomics and safety on the machine, among other things. On/off switches and emergency stop switches can also be integrated. With interfaces such as four Gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports and two RS232 ports, the series can be used very flexibly in machine automation. It is also suitable as a gateway for IIoT and Industry 4.0 applications as well as cloud computing. According to the manufacturer, the built-in M.2 SSD with 128 GB of memory is fast, robust and practically maintenance-free.
