Three protocols in one device

Lumberg Automation is expanding its 'LioN-Power' I/O system for industrial automation applications at field level with a family of active I/O modules.

They offer a multi-protocol solution for Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Ethercat in a single device. Previously, three devices with different connections for the power supply were required for these three protocols. In addition to the system's compact, active I/O modules, there is a distributed control unit (DCU), protocol extension with Ethercat and two IO-Link masters for Ethernet and One Cable.
