Software facilitates Industry 4.0 entry
Jetter is presenting its automation platform, whose integrated software concept makes it particularly easy to get started with Industry 4.0, according to the supplier.
Jetter divides the toolchain into individual areas that take into account the specific requirements of engineers, programmers, HMI designers or support staff. At the same time, the deep integration of the individual tools ensures a secure exchange of data and information. 'JetSym' is the central programming environment that supports configuration, debugging and diagnostics as well as the commissioning of a machine. Developers can use JetSym to create any number of configurations for a project and thus create and test different machine variants during the commissioning phase. 'JetViewSoft' is an HMI solution whose editor can also be operated via touch display. Its object-oriented approach simplifies mask creation: designers can define objects once and then change them as often as they like. The interface is put together from existing graphical objects using drag & drop. JetSafe assigns the respective sensors and functions of a machine to the inputs and outputs of the devices and the safety controller. The operator can select pre-configured command devices and safety technology sensors such as light curtains, door contacts, enable buttons or emergency stop devices directly via icons and link them to logical operators on the graphical user interface using drag & drop. With the 'JetControl 440 MC' controller, the company offers a cloud-compatible controller.
