IoT gateway
Now with MQTT connection
IBH Softec presents a new version of the 'IBH Link UA' with MQTT connection. This allows variables to be sent or received from the OPC UA server via an MQTT broker (publish/subscribe).
No special configuration of the firewall is required. The MQTT connection is configured via an XML file. OPC structures are defined in a separate namespace for this purpose. The individual elements of the structure are connected to any OPC variables in the IBH Link UA or in other external OPC UA servers. The OPC structure is then transferred as a JSON string when a defined trigger event occurs. If the connection is interrupted, the MQTT telegrams are temporarily stored in the gateway on an SD card and transmitted after the interruption. The MQTT connection works with all common MQTT brokers as well as with Microsoft Azure IoT Hub, Amazon IoT Hub, Amazon Greengrass and IBM Watson IoT. All previously purchased devices can be retrofitted with a free software update.
