Integrated in the USB stick

With the ImageStick and InstantImage products from Waxar, manufacturing companies can independently restore data that has become unusable due to hardware errors or malicious code.

With the ImageStick, the backup software is integrated into a USB stick, on which the backup copy is also created. No additional storage media is required. The stick is available in two product lines. The 'OneTime' version enables a one-off backup, for example of the system's delivery status, and the unlimited repeatable restoration of the original system status. To do this, the stick is inserted into the USB port of the IPC and the system is restarted. The recovery is triggered automatically and the system shuts down automatically when the process is complete. After the restart, the system is in the delivery state with all specific adaptations and is immediately ready for operation. With the 'Simple' version, several backup copies can be saved and restored depending on the data volume. InstantImage executes the backup software from an external storage unit or from a storage unit permanently installed in the device hardware and creates the backup copy on any bootable storage medium.
