Closing ranks with the cloud

The PPC-F-QGW series of cloud-based IPCs is equipped with 12 to 19-inch displays with capacitive or resistive touch. A fanless Intel Celeron J1900 SoC with 4 GB of DDR3L SO-DIMM memory works inside.

Interfaces such as dual GbE, USB and RS-232/422/485 are available for transferring machine data. In addition, two mPCIe slots provide expansion options. The IPC series is already equipped with a special IIoT software package including a pre-installed embedded Linux QTS operating system, standardized apps and free software tools. The container-based apps perform functions such as remote maintenance using QRM+ software, data processing and process definition using the Node-RED rules engine or the translation of industrial protocols into IoT protocols such as MQTT or CoAP. The extended voltage input of 9~36VDC, the operating temperature of -10~50°C and the option of panel or control cabinet mounting are designed to enable flexible use in industrial environments directly on the machine. ICP also encloses the IPCs in all-round IP65-protected aluminum housings. These can be combined with different mounting arm variants and internal cabling.
