TDK-Lambda and Hy-Line
Rack power supply for up to 15 kW
The Genesys+ programmable power supply for rack mounting from TDK-Lambda has been extended to include models with output powers of up to 15 kW.
TDK-Lambda is expanding its programmable rack power supplies of the Genesys+ series up to 600 V and 500 A with models with output powers of 5, 10 and 15 kW. Previously, there were variants with 1.7 kW, 2.7 kW and 3.4 kW output power.
The 200 V models with up to 25 A, 50 A and 75 A output current offer an optimized voltage range for applications such as simulating solar modules for converter testing, semiconductor manufacturing, battery charging, DC motor control, heating and process control applications.
All models can be operated in constant voltage, constant current and constant power modes. Up to six power supplies can be connected in parallel to form a newly developed and automated master/slave system, which offers dynamic load behavior and ripple behavior comparable to that of a single power supply. The 5 kW, 10 kW and 15 kW power levels can be ordered with a 3-phase input of 170 to 265 V(AC), 342 to 460 V(AC) or 342 to 528 V(AC).
The models G200-25 (5 kW, 1 U), GSP200-50 (10 kW, 2 U) and GSP200-75 (15 kW, 3 U) have a width of 423 mm and a depth of 441.5 mm. If user access from the front is not required or not permitted, a housing without display and operating elements is available as an option. Clip-on dust filter options can be added to keep out various airborne contaminants.
Standardized programming
Programming is standardized for the entire series: Optionally, the operating elements on the front panel, the LAN (LXI 1.5), USB 2.0 or RS232/485 communication interfaces or the isolated analog control and monitoring (0...5 V, 0...10 V) can be used. GPIB (IEEE488.2), the Anybus CompactCom interface platform for EtherCAT, Modbus TCP and, in some cases, other interfaces are available as options.
The standard equipment also includes a software package including drivers and GUI applications for programming any curve progression and for supporting the integrated arbitrary generator. Safety functions such as safe/auto-restart, load setting memory and various automatic protection functions are available. Voltage and current slew rates are adjustable. Resistance simulation is integrated.
All devices have safety approval in accordance with IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 (61010-1 pending), bear the CE mark in accordance with the Low Voltage, EMC and RoHS2 directives, comply with IEC/EN 61204-3 for conducted and radiated emissions and immunity and come with a five-year warranty.
