Power supply units with AC three-phase input
The TPS series from TDK-Lambda - available from Hy-Line Power Components - can be operated on all 3-phase supplies with 400, 440 and 480 V(AC) and delivers 24 or 48 V(DC) output voltage, adjustable to 19.2 to 28.5 or 38.4 to 58 V respectively.
The TPS3000 with up to 3200 W output power is now followed by the TPS4000 with an output of up to 4080 W. The power supply unit offers output voltage and overcurrent cut-off programming, warning signals (DC Good, AC Fail, Dropped Phase), configurable remote on/off switching, a 12 V/ 0.3 A standby output and a PMBus interface. According to Hy-line Power Components, this enables the monitoring of output voltage, output current, internal temperature, status signals and fan function. Output voltage with an adjustment range of +/-20 % and current limitation with +5/-30 % can be set via front potentiometer, analog 0 to 5 V(DC) control voltage and PMBus interface. Without output power rails, the unit measures 107 mm x 84.4 mm x 335 mm and is therefore suitable for 2 HU racks in 19-inch cabinets.
