Consolidation points
Three installation variants for floor cabling
Consolidation points (CPs) are stationary distribution points for the flexible management of floor cabling in buildings and industrial areas.
Metz Connect has three versions of the robust surface-mounted housing in powder-coated sheet steel in its range: the splice-on version is available with couplings and pigtails in SC duplex, LC quad or ST duplex, the version for pre-assembled installation cables (VIK) is prepared with couplings and can be fitted with SC, LC or ST connectors. Finally, the DCCS version is prepared for DCCS2 assemblies with copper and/or fiber optic assembly. The fiber optic version can be equipped with LC-D or E2000 couplers and the copper version with six RJ45 sockets Cat.6A or Cat.6. The CPs are suitable for simple wall mounting as well as for placement in false floors and enable service-friendly patching thanks to a hinged and removable cover in the patch area.
