Slots designed to be multifunctional
The Solid67 I/O modules from Murrelektronik simplify installations in the field and are particularly suitable for applications with IO-Link sensors and actuators.
They provide eight IO-Link slots in the immediate vicinity of the process, but also integrate classic IOs into the system. A fully encapsulated metal housing, vibration shock values of 15 G and 5 G and operation in a temperature range between -20 °C and +70 °C ensure that they can be used in harsh industrial environments. Diagnostics and troubleshooting can be carried out directly on the module as well as via the controller and an integrated web server. The fieldbus modules are multi-protocol capable, they support Profinet and Ethernet/IP in one module. To switch from one protocol to the other, simply flip a rotary switch on the device. The M12 power cables (L-coded) are particularly current-carrying and transmit up to 16 A. The power supply can be looped through several modules. The overall width is 30 mm.
