Protection class IP65 according to

The ODU-MAC modular connector with spindle locking is now also available in tightness class IP65 as standard in sizes 2 to 4.

This makes the robust outdoor metal solution with quick-release fastener suitable for an extended range of applications: the connector is used where high tightness requirements and a small amount of space are needed for the locking mechanism. According to the manufacturer, the connector can withstand at least 30,000 locking cycles, after which the spindle screw can be easily replaced.
