Four different codings

The M12 Power connector from Hummel has grown: The product family includes overmolded and freely assembled cable and coupling connectors as well as overmolded right-angle connectors.

There are also four designs for freely configurable device plugs. All variants are available in the four different codings K, L, S and T. According to the manufacturer, users will find a suitable solution for almost every application - whether for front or rear wall mounting, as a single-hole variant or as a version with a flange. Stainless steel versions are available for environments where special media resistance is required. All cable connectors are designed as shieldable versions and are therefore EMC-compliant as standard. The connector offers a transmission of 16 A at a rated voltage of 630 V and is therefore also suitable for drive technology. However, as use on servo motors requires a significantly higher temperature resistance, a thermally resistant and dimensionally stable material was selected for the contact carrier, which also meets the geometric challenges. The result is a temperature resistance of up to +125 °C.
