Servomotors
Reduce machine downtimes
Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley Kinetix VPC servo motors enable manufacturers to run machines at higher speeds and higher torque, improving machine throughput.
A motor fan and cooling fins on the motor ensure increased torque and improved power output. The servo motor has various features to reduce machine downtimes: According to the manufacturer, larger and robust bearings improve the L10 service life by up to 60 %. A single cable option for power supply and feedback minimizes installation, setup and maintenance time compared to motors with two cables. The fan can be quickly replaced in the field to further maximize machine uptime. The motor series complies with the IE4 standard, which saves energy costs compared to IE3 or lower rated motors. As an alternative to conventional flange mounting, there is an integrated foot mounting option for the motor. The servo motor is currently designed for use with the 'Kinetix 5700' servo drive, but the functionality will be extended to other drives.
