elect!' is a further development of the 'Electric Vehicle Symposium & Echibition (EVS30)' in Stuttgart, which, according to Messe Stuttgart, was "very well received" by the organizers. Messe Stuttgart, the previous co-organizer of 'EVS30', is now launching its own event concept with 'elect! Exhibition & Conference': "After the tender was decided in favor of Stuttgart and the first partners were on board, we created a digital hub for electromobility with www.elect-expo.com. This has now resulted in the 'elect!' event concept," says Ulrich Kromer von Baerle, CEO of Messe Stuttgart.

There are some conceptual changes compared to the 'EVS30'. The trade fair will take center stage at 'elect! 2018' will be in the foreground. It will focus on the automotive sector, including the Tier 1 - 3 supplier industry, the energy sector with charging infrastructure, ITC and smart mobility solutions. Manufacturers and suppliers present products, components and solutions at the technological maturity level at the transition from research & development to entry into the mass market. "We are a partner to industry and address the topics relevant to our economic region and Germany as an industrial location. After many positive discussions with exhibitors, sponsors and partners about the EVS30, we are continuing with the elect! Exhibition & Conference, we are continuing the sustainable topic of electromobility with our own concept," continues Kromer von Baerle.
