New business division thanks to company acquisitions

Franz Binder Elektrische Bauelemente has taken over the business operations of the insolvent companies of the Eucrea Group, headquartered in Pforzheim, with retroactive effect from June 1, 2019.

Markus Binder, Managing Partner of the Binder Group, sees the new 'binder galvanic surfaces' division as "an ideal addition to our group of companies".

The four companies include the surface finishing companies FMB Technik and Weinbrecht & Kücherer Oberflächenveredelung as well as Eucrea Industrieservice, which specializes in the construction of electroplating systems, and Eucrea Hexagon Holding. Binder is transferring the main assets to a company that will operate on the market under the name 'binder galvanic surfaces'. Almost all of the more than 100 jobs will be retained and will be concentrated at the Pforzheim site in future.

Franz Binder Elektrische Bauelemente is a supplier of circular connectors for automation technology and employs 1800 people worldwide, 1000 of whom work at the company headquarters in Neckarsulm.
