Drive controller
Integrate safety
The current drive controllers from KEB combine servo and inverter operation and offer extensive safety functions for the integration of safety in plant and machine automation.
For example, the Combivert S6 single-axis servo inverters with a peak current of up to 250 % cover the power range up to 5.5 kW; they are primarily aimed at applications with high dynamics and overload. For the power range between 4 and 400 kW, Combivert F6 is initially available in four sizes, which serve motor outputs up to 90 kW. The universal S6/F6 drive controllers are available in two technical versions with identical functions: K-Control has everything on board, from Ethercat to CAN, STO and the 'Multi Encoder Interface'; A-Control offers the flexibility of various safety modules and real-time Ethernet connections. In addition to CAN, both Ethercat and Profinet are implemented as Ethernet interfaces in one device simply by means of a software switch. With the certified safety module 3, the series covers a range of safety functions that can be configured and parameterized using the 'Combivis 6 Safety Editor' as part of the KEB development environment. Open-loop or closed-loop operation is always available for all common motor technologies. From 30 kW, the F6 series provides both air and liquid cooling - both in control cabinet installation or through-hole versions.
