Motor modules
Housed in a flat housing
The two AS-i motor modules BW3278 and BW3290 complete the Bihl+Wiedemann range. Their housing in a flat design of 90 mm × 60 mm × 18 mm (W×H×D) also allows them to be accommodated in conveyor line curves.
This makes the devices suitable for a wide range of installation situations in cable ducts of conveyor segments, buffer sections and other material flow applications. The motor modules, to each of which two 24 V roller drives from Itoh Denki, Interroll or Rulmeca can be connected, each have a mixed input and output slave and an integrated passive distributor. The inputs are supplied from AS-i, the outputs from 24 V auxiliary power. Rotational information is transmitted via an AS-i AB slave and the corresponding speed is defined via AS-i parameters. The connection to AS-i and AUX is made via profile cables.
