DC servomotors
For highly dynamic applications
Faulhaber is expanding its portfolio of DC servomotors with the LM 1483 with a continuous force of 6.2 N and a peak force of up to 18.4 N. The motor measures 14 x 20 x 83 mm and has a rotor rod diameter of 6 mm.
It is available in various stroke lengths from 20 to 80 mm. In addition, the stainless steel slider rod is fitted with welded cover plates that provide a robust and reliable interface to the application. Thanks to the three integrated analog Hall sensors, the -11 version can be easily combined with motion controllers from Faulhaber, such as the new MC 5004/5005 or the MCLM 300x. The -12 version is also available for sin/cos control. Like the other models in the family, the LM 1483 also combines high dynamics (acceleration up to 220 m/s2) with high precision and repeat accuracy (down to 120 µm or 40 µm). Possible applications include automatic placement machines where highly dynamic positioning is required.
