Koco Motion presents the Lexium Motion Modules (LMM) from Schneider Electric Motion USA (SEM). The modules with integrated CANopen connection are based on the 'Lexium MDrive' (LMD) product family.

Equipped with a 1.5 A driver, the motors in the compact housing can be integrated into any customer-specific control concept. The LMM contains the CiA DS301 communication profile and the DSP402 device profile (CANopen standard) for electric drives. The LMD drive is used to develop prototypes. The software developed for this can then be transferred directly to the LMM as part of a customer-specific control solution. The manufacturer offers two development boards, each for one axis, for individual design: The board suitable for rapid application development has isolated inputs/outputs, CAN transceivers and latching connector plugs. A complete development kit includes an LMM, a NEMA 17 flange motor with integrated encoder, a USB-to-CAN converter and a power supply unit.
