Its compact fork housing can be mounted close to the dispenser edge so that the sensor reliably detects the label edge at high web speeds. Thanks to an improved evaluation algorithm, the sensor reads even difficult labels - regardless of whether the labels are metallized, made of film or paper, and even changing colors and transparencies do not affect reliable detection in the labelling process. The sensor also detects splices and splices.

The label sensor from Microsonic can be set directly on the controller via the IO-Link interface without the need to operate the sensor on site. It has integrated the smart additional function of recipe management via IO-Link. To do this, the different labels are first taught in and the material parameters are saved in the controller. If the label is changed, the operator selects the label type on the control unit. This writes the label-specific parameters back to the sensor.
