The draw-wire sensors of the Wiresensor family from Micro-Epsilon are available in many sizes, designs and versions. Two draw-wire displacement sensors from the Wiresensor WPS-K100 series with measuring ranges of 1500 mm and 2500 mm are being launched for industrial applications. This sensor series is used for precise distance and position measurement, primarily for measuring tasks in mobile machines, mobile cranes and in lifting technology. Their plastic housing is glass fiber reinforced. The drum and spring chamber are housed separately so that the sensors are protected from external influences and can be used both indoors and outdoors. For OEM and series applications, the sensors can be easily adapted to the respective measuring task, including via the measuring range, cable thickness or various signal outputs.
