For long signal paths

The capaNCDT 61x4 capacitive measuring system from Micro-Epsilon is used for industrial measurement of displacement, distance and position. Unlike conventional capacitive sensors, the preamplifier of the active 'capaNCDT' sensors is integrated into the sensor.

As a result, capacitance changes in the cable have hardly any effect on the measurement signal. This offers advantages in terms of freedom of movement and enables cable routing with drag chains and on robot arms. In addition, cable lengths of up to 15 m can be implemented.

The active Micro-Epsilon flat sensor is constructed with a ceramic sensor element and is compact and robust. The measuring system is calibrated at the factory to the required cable length. Measurement data is output via the RS485 interface or via an analog output.
