... Used on cranes, in traffic applications for detecting vehicles or for measuring hot steel slabs in steelworks. It masters both axial object tracking and the fast detection of edges of objects entering from the side. With measuring cycle times of maximum 1 ms, the sensor is ideal for use in control loops. Its HDDM+ technology enables reliable distance measurement indoors and outdoors. When measuring natural objects, distances of up to over 450 m are detected. The maximum range is 1500 m when measuring on reflector foil. For an extended range of applications, unwanted reflections can be suppressed with the multi-echo technology. Extensive setting options enable adaptation to individual measurement tasks. The graphical touch display, the 'Sopas ET' user interface and a red alignment laser allow the sensor to be put into operation quickly.
