Pressure sensors
Measurement via pressure difference
Yokogawa Electric Corporation announces the launch of a newly developed differential pressure measurement system from the Dpharp-EJX product line.
The EJXC40A consists of two separate pressure sensors that are connected to each other via an electrical cable and communicate accordingly. Based on the pressures measured by both sensors, the system determines the differential pressure, the fill level, the flow rate and the pressure of the process media. According to the manufacturer, the sensor system is the ideal solution for the following applications: Level measurements on large tanks, high-precision differential pressure measurement and measurements of large differential pressures at very high static pressures. The differential pressure and pressure transmitters in the DPharp product range have been specially developed for use in the process industry, such as the oil and natural gas industry, the petrochemical industry, the chemical industry and the energy industry.
