Richard Wöhr is expanding its line of accessories to include a plastic DIN rail adapter, which, according to the manufacturer, enables simple and secure installation on DIN EN 60715-compliant mounting rails.

The two-part design consists of a base unit and a flexibly positionable mounting element. Depending on the height of the enclosure to be mounted, this element can be secured in various positions and shortened if necessary. To ensure a secure fastening, matching screws are included in the package, allowing for both direct screw fastening into the plastic and universal use with different wall thicknesses. By simply pulling the latch, the mounted enclosure can be detached from the top-hat rail without tools. Depending on the application, up to two top-hat rail adapters can be used per enclosure. The top-hat rail adapter is manufactured in Germany from self-extinguishing plastic (polyamide 6) in black, similar to RAL 9005.
