Within the company, Liselotte Lossau was responsible for many years for areas including finance, marketing, human resources, customs, and later IT. In addition, she oversaw construction projects and drove the modernization of the company’s organizational structure.

After stepping down from her operational role, she remained associated with the company as a shareholder and continued to follow its progress.

“Liselotte Lossau was an intelligent, modest, and remarkably dynamic individual,” says Dr. Alexander Huber, CEO of Polytec. “She not only helped build Polytec, but also instilled in our company the values that continue to define us today. She knew how to combine entrepreneurial spirit and humanity in a unique way. Her legacy remains inextricably linked to the history of Polytec.”

In addition to her business activities, Liselotte Lossau was involved in hospice care in the Karlsruhe region for many years. In 2020, she was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon for her volunteer work.
