Jumo
Supplemented by three modules
The Varitron automation system from Jumo is being extended by three modules: The 32-channel digital I/O module offers 32 channels, 17 of which are configured as digital outputs as standard.
Up to three optional plug-in cards can be used to add five digital inputs or outputs each.
The digital input signals can be further processed in the 'Varitron' central processing unit; LED displays visualize the switching statuses.
The 2-port router module adds two system bus outputs to the central unit of the automation system. This allows the system bus to be transmitted to the new 3-port router module on other top-hat rails in the same or in other control cabinets at a distance of up to 100 m. According to Jumo, this enables input and output modules to be distributed and the automation system to be arranged decentrally.
Addressing via rotary coding switches can be implemented for special applications. With all three products, the operating voltage and system bus can be wired quickly by simply plugging the modules together.
