Horizontal version
The Nesos R40 LSH from Jumo is a new member of the Nesos series, which includes devices for point level measurement using a float and reed contact and for level measurement using a float and reed chain.
Thanks to its horizontal design, the float switch can be easily mounted on the side walls of tanks and containers and then reliably measures the respective limit level (MIN/MAX level). The measurement is independent of many medium properties, pressure ratios and container geometries. For redundant level measurement, it offers up to two switching contacts for which no auxiliary energy (power supply) is required.
The float switch from Jumo is available with a sliding tube length of up to 1 m and can be used at temperatures from -52 to +240 °C and process pressures up to a maximum of 88 bar. It is available in protection classes IP65 to IP68 and is optionally available with ATEX and IECEx approval for use in Zone 0. A version with a temperature sensor/switch is also available in the product range.
