Enables machines without control cabinets

The Codesys 3 controller TBEN-PLC from Turck is a compact IP67 PLC for controlling smaller or modular machines.

It operates directly in the field, enabling machines or machine modules without control cabinets that can be flexibly connected to other modules via a communication and power supply cable. In this way, users reduce their cabling effort by using pre-assembled cables. The controller offers numerous communication interfaces: As a master, the device supports the industrial Ethernet protocols Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP as well as CANopen and SAE J1939 and the serial interfaces RS232 and RS485. The block I/O controller also offers eight universal I/O channels for the direct connection of sensors and actuators. In the Ethernet networks Profinet, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP as well as in Modbus RTU and CANopen networks, the controller can also act as a slave (or device), which enables it to be used as a protocol converter. Users program with the Codesys 3 control software.
