Optimized for blue light

Within the visible spectrum, monochromatic image examinations with blue light are the most effective. The lenses in the Blue Vision series from Vision & Control are specially designed for this spectral range.

The 'Blue Vision' lens series currently consists of four telecentric lenses each with object field diameters of 18 mm and 30 mm. The image scales of the individual models have been selected so that they fully cover all common sensor sizes. This results in field diagonals of 4.1 mm (1/4 inch); 6.1 mm (1/3 inch); 9 mm (1/1.8 inch) and 11 mm (2/3 inch). Particular emphasis was placed on a compact design. The T18/0.23, for example, is only slightly longer than a conventional entocentric lens. The wall thickness of the tubes is designed so that the lenses can reliably withstand rough industrial use. All lenses have an adjustable aperture. From f/8 to f/11 (depending on type) they are diffraction-limited and therefore also suitable for 5MP sensors. For use under extreme conditions, the models are also available in vibration-resistant versions, with fixed aperture and bonded lenses.

The T18 series has a tube diameter of 28 mm (aperture ring 30.5 mm) and can be clamped at this circumference. The lenses of the T30 series are only 42 mm thick in the front part, but otherwise have the diameter of the T18 series, so that they fit into the same mounts.
