Making program changes quickly and easily is now possible with the 'Update Tool' in Sigmatek 's Lasal engineering tool. Simply enter the relevant commands, set the parameters, comment if necessary and update at the touch of a button. From a quality management perspective, this allows machine applications to be imported into the control systems - securely, without sources of error and reproducibly. If spare parts are required, the delivery status can simply be installed.

The process runs fully automatically and delivers a result file (log file) at the end. This ensures quality and reduces the time required. This also applies in particular to multi-CPU applications, where programs can be imported centrally from one point into all CPUs of the machine.

26 basic functions are available for a wide range of commands and functions, which can be fed with parameters or sources. Examples of this are 'Download Visualization' and 'Move File'. The 'Make Update Sticks' function is now available in the 'Machine Manager', with which it is possible to copy the updated files to a USB stick. This allows a complete software package to be triggered on site at the machine or system.
