S-DIAS series extended
Sigmatek has expanded its S-DIAS series with the CP313 CPU module for control, regulation and motion tasks and the EC121 interface module.
The CP 313 CPU module with dual-core EDGE2 processor is a processor unit for control, regulation and motion tasks. CAN, USB, Ethernet and VARAN bus are available as interfaces. Drives that only speak EtherCAT can also be integrated into a Sigmatek system via an EtherCAT drive controller interface. The CPU unit also has an exchangeable microSD card with 512 MB, a RealTimeClock and a zero-voltage-safe RAM area.
S-DIAS I/O modules can be integrated into an EtherCAT bus system via the EC 121 interface module. In addition to 1x EtherCAT In and 1x EtherCAT Out, the EC 121 also provides the power supply for 32 modules and automatically detects the connected S-DIAS I/Os. The interface module provides the EtherCAT slave configuration and handles the data exchange between EtherCAT and the S-DIAS system bus.
