The first construction phase, which has now begun, is scheduled to last until 2020. The plan is to build a new logistics area with incoming and outgoing goods as well as a high-bay warehouse, a canteen with a roof terrace and social rooms. As part of the second construction phase, modern office workspaces with attractive, ergonomic workplaces for employees are to be created by 2023. With the new company headquarters, the family business is also investing in its external image: large façade sails on the transparent outer skin are intended to set architectural accents. Binder entrusted the design, planning and construction of the company headquarters to engineers and architects from the Vollack Group, a specialist in methodical building design from Karlsruhe.
Binder employs 1700 people worldwide, 1000 of whom work at the company headquarters in Neckarsulm. The company has 15 locations worldwide.
