Norbert Gauß strengthens management team

Since September 1, Norbert Gauß has been responsible for the business of Yaskawa's Drives & Motion division for the EMEA region as President & Division Director. He succeeds Albert Shiina in this role and has also been appointed Co-Managing Director of Yaskawa Europe.

In his new role, Norbert Gauß (right) reports directly to Manfred Stern, President & CEO of Yaskawa Europe.

"Norbert Gauß will be able to make an important contribution to the Drives & Motion Division with his market knowledge and leadership qualities," Manfred Stern, CEO of Yaskawa Europe, is convinced and adds: "His valuable experience will be of great help to us in the further development and expansion of Yaskawa's drive technology division."

The 55-year-old Norbert Gauß holds a degree in precision engineering. He has 30 years of experience in the field of automation, which he gained at Robert Bosch, Schneider Electric and Hoerbiger Automation Technology. At Schneider Electric, Norbert Gauß was Managing Director of the Electric Motion division (formerly Berger Lahr) and Electric Machine Solutions (formerly Elau).

Albert Shiina is to take on other strategic tasks within Yaskawa Europe in the future.
