Subsidiary founded in Poland

Sensor manufacturer Leuze is now selling its sensor solutions on the Polish market through its own sales and service company Leuze electronic Polska, based in Katowice, southern Poland.

"Poland is a large, growing market. And a very important one for us, especially as the industries that the Sensor People specialize in and focus on are on the rise there: intralogistics and the packaging industry, the machine tools sector and the automotive industry," explains Salvatore Buccheri, Vice President Europe, "Our technological expertise applied specifically to the relevant industry segments is creating a new global application focus in Poland and placing our focus on safety," he adds.

Leuze was founded in 1963 at its headquarters in Owen/Teck, southern Germany, and today employs over 1200 people worldwide.
