Protection class IP67 accordingly

The 36 series sensors from Leuze are suitable for intralogistics, packaging technology and the automotive industry. They detect objects with different optical properties even at great distances, vibrations, ambient light or soiling.

The IP67-certified sensors from Leuze are available with different functional principles: as diffuse sensors with background suppression (up to 2.5 m range), as retro-reflective sensors (up to 17 m range) or as through-beam sensors (up to 80 m range). According to the supplier, the sensor design enables a very high function reserve, so that objects are reliably detected even if, for example, sources of interference are present. On request, users can also obtain the retro-reflective photoelectric sensors for detecting objects with depolarizing properties, such as foil-wrapped pallets. The sensors are available both with an M12 connection socket and with differently assembled connection cables.
