Leuze is geared towards a policy of differentiation and focus. This means that the company concentrates on those focus industries in which it has built up specific application expertise over the years. "These technological competencies, applied in a targeted manner to the relevant industry segments, have given rise to global application focuses," explains Dr. Albrecht von Pfeil, Director Business Area Safety Sensors & Solutions at Leuze. "One of these is the area of safety, which is increasingly becoming our focus," he adds.

In recent years, Leuze has evolved from being purely a manufacturer and developer of safety sensors; today, the product portfolio includes safety sensors, services and solutions. This know-how is bundled in the newly created Safety division. In its public image, the company emphasizes this with the label 'Safety at Leuze'.
